Stupid Japanese News...

Just watched a news report on Japanese tv. Apparently some 43 year old teacher installed an android app on a junior high school girl's smartphone. This app allowed him to virtually see her phone as a hard drive from any computer. Creepy shit. What really pisses me off are the fucking morons in the newsroom. Rather than just report the incident, they explained in full detail about how to do it. They basically gave instructions for future stalker/creeps to stalk their victims. Fucking asshats...

nVIDIA Graphics card Hotfix!

For anyone who owns an nVIDIA graphics card...

Under "Display > Adjust desktop size and position" there are options for scaling that the video card performs. I set the scaling to "No scaling" for both of my displays and things like 2D 1080p games and YouTube videos run VERY smooth!

Working in Japan.

Back home in Canada there was a certain stigma about where you worked.

If you were a lower class type of person, you might work pumping gas at a gas station, or serving people at a convenience store. Here, it seems, people take pride in their jobs.

No matter how small or menial they seem. Everyone does their job to the best of their ability and it looks like they are all working together. It's a balance that maintains order and no one person is looked down on because of their job.
have a new found respect for service workers now.

After years of being indoctrinated by western media, that everyone should strive to be something more than a "lowly office worker" or food service representative, I realize how petty that was.

Finally finished edition EPISODE 040 - Western Village. This was the longest I have ever spent editing an episode. Except for the Ishinomaki one, of course! I can't wait to show you guys this in April!
