Jonny and I went out for a bit this afternoon to go clothes shopping. I picked up a nice pair of headphones and he got some stuff as well.

On our way home I noticed that we were in the vicinity of 18DINERS, a burger joint, located in Ashikaga City, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. We decided to stop in and try it out.

This was the first time I had been there so I really didn't know what to order. Jonny had decided on the bacon cheeseburger, so I decided to do the same. We also got Camembert cheese fries and a soda. I got A&W root beer! Nice!

The burgers finally came out and they were huge and so tasty. This guy really knows how to make a great looking and tasting burger. The buns were also very good. Toasted lightly with some sesame seeds on the top as well. The fries were crisp and hot. Everything tasted great.

I highly recommend that if you are in the Ashikaga area, check out 18DINERS. Google map search it and you will find it.

These are truly the best burgers in Japan!

Font size in Steam Chat too small? Do this!

1. Go to your steam install dir. (eg. c:/program files/steam)

2. go to the steam/resource/styles dir

3. open steam.styles in either window notepad (disable word wrapping) or use Notepad++ like I do.

4. Search for the line "friends_chat_text" (About line 4181 in Notepad++)

5. Edit "font-size=XX" and change it to whatever you want. I used "20."

6. Do this for each type of "friends_XXXX" section until you reach "friends_chat_securitylink" (That will be the last section you edit. Line 4256 in Notepad++)

7. Save the file and make sure to restart Steam.

These are the games I am currently playing. A lot of them were bought during the Steam Christmas sale. I haven't gotten around to playing all of them yet, but I definitely will. I gotta finish Mass Effect 2 (Thanks Dustin!) and The Witcher 2, as I would really like to try out Skyrim. I am also playing Battlefield 3 but that is on Origin (fucking stupid EA) and not Steam so it isn't shown here. I hope my friends in Canada will get BF3 soon so we can all play together and talk on Skype!! HINT HINT!!!

Mark Wahlberg Apologizes After Making an Incredibly Stupid Comment About 9/11

Mark Wahlberg has found himself in an mess of his own making. In an interview with Men's Journal, he spoke about how he was supposed to have been on one of the planes that hit the World Trade Center on 9/11. Apparently he thinks that action stars have the same powers in real life as their characters do in the movies, because he made a pretty outrageous claim about how he'd have handled the hijacking.

If I was on that plane with my kids, it wouldn't have went down like it did. There would have been a lot of blood in that first-class cabin and then me saying, "OK, we're going to land somewhere safely, don't worry."

Oof. That is definitely one of those things you're better off thinking in the privacy of your own head, if at all. But Wahlberg said it outloud—to a magazine—and now Deena Burnett-Bailey, the widow of one of the men who stormed the cockpit on Flight 93, is condemning his remarks:

The plan for Flight 93 was foiled by heroes. For him to speculate that his presence on board could have stopped everything is silly and disrespectful. Sounds like someone is grandstanding.

He's now apologized, calling his statement "irresponsible." He told TMZ, "To speculate about such a situation is ridiculous to begin with." Indeed it is. And now Marky Mark, you are forever tainted in our minds. [Observer, TMZ]

This song is a favorite of mine. It samples the main piano riff from Coldplay's clocks and blends it with Brandy's smooth vocals. I like her vocals a lot. Her voice is so smooth it reminds me of Enya. Very soothing.

I listened to this song a lot when I was thinking of leaving South Korea. I had so many emotions running through me at the time and this song just spoke to me. I know it sounds cheesy but music has a way of talking to you when you least expect it.

I chose this song as my favorite because it came out as I was having a hard time at my new job. My boss was an absolute cunt and I had regretted taking the job because of it. The last person to work with her had left an obsessively long and detailed account of the problems that she had faced while working there. I did not find these documents until I had been there for a few months. Needless to say, I agreed with most of her findings and almost added some of my own. Since I have started working at my new school in 2010 I have really enjoyed my time here in Sano and the old boss is actually treating me with a modicum of respect. Definitely a great trance song with beautifully sung vocals. ATB is fucking great!

(Reuters) - Stand-up comedian Patrice O'Neal died on Tuesday at the age of 41 following a stroke last month, his agent said.

"It is with terrible sadness we must report that Patrice O'Neal has passed away this morning...due to the complications of the stroke he suffered on October 19," O'Neal's agent Matt Frost said in a statement.

"Many of us have lost a close and loved friend; all of us have lost a true comic genius," Frost added.

O'Neal, who appeared on Comedy Central celebrity roasts and on Conan O'Brien's and David Letterman's late night TV shows, was also a frequent guest on the "Opie & Anthony" radio show on Sirius XM.

"Yes it's true that our pal Patrice O'Neal has passed away. The funniest and best thinker I've known. PERIOD," the Sirius XM hosts said in a Twitter message.

The "Opie & Anthony" show also broke news last month that the stand-up comic, who was diabetic, had suffered a stroke last month.

Frost said O'Neal's mother Georgia was at his side when he died. O'Neal is survived by his wife, Vondecarlo, his step daughter Aymilyon and sister Zinder.

"The family wishes to thank all of the fans and friends who have expressed an outpouring of love and support for Patrice these past weeks. We ask that you please respect the family's request for privacy at this difficult time," the statement added.

O'Neal took part along with other celebrities in Comedy Central's roast of actor Charlie Sheen in September.

He also appeared in the Comedy Central special "Elephant in the Room," and had guest roles in TV shows including "The Office" and "Arrested Development".

Film appearances included "In the Cut," "25th Hour" and "Head of State."

What is a hipster?

A Hipster is a social faggot who dresses up like a Gap commercial and walks around thinking they are better than anyone else.

Hipsters wear their hair in a comb over one side of their face. (Kind of like emo, but more gay!) They will also wear their hairdo in what is known as a "faux hawk" not a real mow-hawk, because that wouldn't be ironic. Accessories such as large rimmed glasses, scarves and plastic-y jewelry are also added to their ensemble. Really tight pants are also a must. If you can fit more than one finger in the waist, you are not truly a hipster.

Hipsters, like the hippies before them, also smell bad. The hipster men smell like sweaty ass, mixed with an outdated cologne, like Drakkar Noir. Hipster women smell like unwashed cunt and sweaty cheese.

Music is a big thing for hipsters. They always listen to bands you've never heard of and they scoff at you if you've never heard of them. They give themselves credit for "finding" new bands. They have immense collections of this music that all pretty much sounds the same. The music is really stupid and usually involves at least one of the following musical instruments:

Toy Piano
Triangle
Harmonica
Recorder
80s synth
Ukulele
Shitty drum kit

Hipster bands also have a lead singer who isn't quite good enough to be a star but not that bad either. The hipster will argue that the lead singer's voice has "character" when in all actuality, the lead singer has the talent of a retard hiding his underwear in his mom's shoe boxes after having an accidental "whoopsie" with the neighbor's underage daughter.

They usually look away from the camera, but not quite all the way, when performing in a music video. (Usually shot on an iPhone or 8mm film, to be ironic.)

Hipsters also do not play modern video games. They prefer old things like NES or SNES. New games are too "commercialized" and their tiny brains cannot handle the arduous task of handling more than a d-pad and 2 buttons. The only new games they will play are indie titles. Such as "Rainbow Unicorn Surprise" or "Ninja Sunshine Battle" These games are usually filled with shitty 8-bit graphics (irony) and have musical soundtrack's composed of "chip tunes" (more 8-bit irony that sounds like a young male, getting his balls ripped off slowly by a claw hammer, while a transgender prostitute shits on the chests of two Japanese businessmen who are furiously masturbating to anime tentacle porn.)

This "old things" trend also takes us back to music. They prefer to listen to music on vinyl.

In the literary scene, hipsters like shitty authors such as Kurt Vonnegut, Kafka and any other douchebag who has written a book that can put you to sleep after two pages.

Hipsters also have a "holier than thou" air about themselves. They constantly judge you for not being like them.

Hipsters are the modern day hippies and need to be dealt with in a swift and brutal matter.

A quick blow to the back of the head with a baseball bat.

Pin one up between your car and a brick wall.

Shit on one's face and then proceed to drown it with your fecal matter.

Love him or hate him, you have to respect him. You have to respect the amount of work that he put into Apple. He bled aluminum for that company. From meticulous and sometimes questionable business operations to the charities he supported, there is no doubt that this guy left his mark here on earth.

Ever since I was a little kid I would always go to Radio Shack or the nearest computer store and play with the Apple Macintosh computers. They interested me. When I was waiting for my turn at piano lessons, I would play Wolfenstein on a monochrome-green display. I ate that shit up.
Some holier than thou motherfuckers scoff at Apple. They call people "sheep" for buying their notebooks and iPods. With their "Maaaaaaaan" and "Fight the corporate big wigs" attitudes that need to be dealt with via a lead toed boot to the groin area. (For you ladies, a kick in the cunt!)

I don't own a MacBook. I never have. I don't care for the operating system because I am used to using Windows. But do I think it's shit? No way. People have been using Apple operating systems for a long time and a large percentage of my friends do as well.

If anyone else could do it better... Why didn't they? The iPod revolutionized the way we listen to and buy music. It made it possible for even the smallest of bands to release and album for the world to hear.

Without these and many more innovations, I really wonder what the world would have been like.

Definitely not as interesting as it is now.

There is no iPhone 5. It is the iPhone 4S. The differences? Faster Dual Core Processor, 8MP Camera that does 1080p video, 64GB max capacity model, new antenna system. The only thing I think that sucks is that it does not have a bigger screen. Apple, in its infinite wisdom, finds it necessary to create their own aspect ratio screen (something not quite 4:3 but not quite 16:9) Which sucks a big dick! Why don't they do a 16:9 screen like everyone else? That's what movies are made in these days. We don't need fucking black bars on the top and bottom of the screen anymore. Not only that, it is a paltry 3.7 inches big. Fucking disappointing. I'll stick with my lightning fast Samsung Galaxy SII!

Kevin Crocker In Japan: Season 2

Hit a bit of a snag in the production of the first episode of season 2. I have to ditch about 20 minutes of footage as it was completely boring and shitty. The "Tokyo Trip With Jonny" was going to be the first episode of the season, but I think we need to go back and shoot more goodness!
